I recently downloaded arena++ from vab02.larc.nasa, and tried to set it up.
Since it came with only the binary and a few sound files it wasn't hard.
The only problem is that I can't get it to play over the network. We
used the -n option to no avail, and I suspect that an appropriate entry
should be made in /etc/services. I tried an obvious entry, 1 port number
above sgi-arena, but that didn't work. Our ethernet connector have flashing
LEDs on them, and some packets are transmitted when the program is first
executed, but then nothing.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Andy
