I'm posting this for a friend who doesn't have e-mail/USENET access, so I
haven't witnessed the problem...but here goes:
---cut---
The error I'm getting happens at startup while trying to start the netlsd
daemon. The exact text of the error message is as follows:
netlsd: Unable to register with locating broker earlier timestamp (network
computing system/DRM)
The error appears after we notice our system clock was set 9 months into the
future and we changed it to the correct date. Several files have the future
date now. Apparently, some of the files related to netlsd were affected.
What's going on?
---cut end----
Aside: % man netlsd
Just say no! :)
