On a 4D/480 running IRIX 4.05, we have a couple of rlogind's
gone wild, using up 2 cpus, that will not be killed or
reniced:
user pid pgrp %cpu proc pri size rss time command
sysadm 10580 10580 99.4 4 100 65 3 5736:14 rlogind
sysadm 10528 10528 99.4 3 100 65 3 5741:43 rlogind
These two processes went awry when a remote user ended the
rlogins by quitting the windows, on his Indigo, in which
they were running.
Can I banish this processes, short of rebooting?
Is there a fix to prevent this behavior?
Please send replies to my email below. Thanks.
