Free Fonts !! But not for Showcase ?

Any of you having VAXen running DECwindows/Motif, you have access to a few
extra Display PostScript fonts in the directory SYS$SYSCOMMON:[SYSFONT.XDPS.OUTLINE]
Just copy them into /usr/lib/DPS/outline/base, renaming them sensibly,
and you now have AvantGarde, LubalinGraph, NewCenturySchlbk and Souvenir.
Try them with /usr/demos/bin/fontview

Question. 

How can I use these fonts !

	1. for the X server - to give me scaleable fonts. Perhaps too much to ask ?

	2. in Showcase - I thought this would give me more fonts, but it seems
	   that Showcase dosn't use X or display postscript fonts.

Otherwise, are they of any use other than for Xpsview ??
