imgsnap problems with monitor refresh rate

We've noticed gaps in our screen snaps (of molecules which are mostly
vertical from the top of the screen to bottom) when using imgsnap.  When
using the old snapshot program the screen snaps come out fine.  Our guess is
there's a problem with syncing up with the monitor refresh rate.  Has anyone
else noticed this problem?
