I just upgraded my 4D25TG to IRIX 4.0.5a and now I'm getting printer sync
errors. The printer is an Apple LaserWriter IIg connected via serial to
the PI and etherTalk to a Mac Quadra 950. It is also used as a network printer
for a 4D340 running IRIX 4.0.1. After a file is printed the data receive light
keeps flashing and the mac thinks there is still a job on the printer so it
won't print. Everything was working fine when the PI was running 3.3.2.
Anybody have any suggestions?
Below is a portion of my /usr/spool/lp/log file:

I think I have read an article the other day which claimed that that is a bug in the LWII firmware and that you should ask for a firmware upgrade from whoever sold you the printer. The problem that was described over there was that the printer was sending extra ctrl-Ds. Hope this helps. -- -- Yaron.
