Emulex SCSI=>ESDI question

I have an Emulex MU2110402 SCSI=>ESDI bridge, with which I can run ESDI
devices on a SCSI bus.

Does anyone have any documentation on these or know where I could get
some? The problem is that the SCSI controller on a sun4c or an
adaptec/ncr on a PC does not even notice it on the bus!

One thing that is noticeable is that, out of the red and the green LED's on
the Emulex board, the green one continuously flashes? Can SCSI id be set
on these? There seem to be some jumpers and certainly a block of
dipswitches but no docs!

I also seem to remember that it supported two ESDI drives as multiple
LUN's on a common id. The board came from a shoebox sun enclosure.
