SS10's have 8 RAM slots just like SS20's and can support up to 512 MB (8 x
64). Only the Ross Hyperstations (SS10/20 clones with faster Mbus timing,
etc.) could support 128 MB modules AFAIK.

8-) Unfortunately, the tradeoff here is running hot SM71 or very hot SM81
CPU's as opposed to running high-speed but not quite as hot (except for the
180/200 MHz model) Ross/Bridgepoint Hypersparc CPU's. SS20's (and 10's) can
support Hypersparc CPU's right up to the top-end 200 MHz modules with the
right OBP firmware.

SM81's give better raw-throughput performance than 150 Mhz Hypersparc's but
they run too hot to have more than one installed in a SparcStation 10 or 20
system.

Regards,

Craig.
