Sun has p*ssed me off for the last time, and I am now looking for alternative suppliers of SPARC-based workstations. I have been made attractive offers on EOS SS10 clones and a number of low-end TriGem workstations. I would like to hear of others' experiences with these - good, bad, gotchas to look out for, etc. I am particularly interested in the following: EOS K-30N and K-41N upgrade kits + other EOS 1030/1041 workstation/server configurations TriGem models SDT-300E, SDT-250 and SDT-400 What are the going street prices for these in your neck of the woods? Any other clone recommendations will also be gratefully received. Please email replies, as I rarely have time to read netnews these days. I will, of course, summarise if there is interest ... Thanks, Craig
