Not that I know of. I did once suggest that sun offer the DAT in the ss20.
Now I am not sure it is a good idea. Most people upgrade their workstation
much more often than peripherals. Sun have only just started doing this with
CDROMS and probably because they are cheap enough that you don't worry too
much about buying another one with your next workstation. Of course if they
could stick to standard size/interface devices so that you could remove
your device before upgrading and then insert it into the new machine there
would be no real barrier. That's a big IF, however. Anyway - Good luck.
