Hardware flow control on Sun's ALM-2 ports 4-15.

According to mcp(4S) "BUGS" section:
Note: pin 4 is used for hardware flow control on ALM-2 ports 0
through 3. These two pins should /not/ be tied together on the
     ALM end."

Does this mean that I can't use hardware flow control on any of
the other ports? From the looks on my breakout box, etc. this
would seem so.

If this is true, does this mean it's useless to put a T2500 on any
of those ports, unless I connect them at 9600 BPS (and even then
it won't be a great connection if the Sun gets slow).

inadequate. "They don't need a tax cut. They need a job." Feb 3, 1992
