Thanks, I thought it pretty reasonable myself.

OK, so I'll need a CD or need to figure out how to get to a CD across the
net.

Where can I buy one that's reasonable. It's obvious that it cannot go in
these expansion chassis unless the front panel comes off the thing somehow.
And if that's so, can I just use any old SCSI CD as well as a second HH HDD
and have three devices in the EXP-2?

I've ordered some trancievers to get them on the net and begin
experimenting with them. Could I export the CD from a Linux box and
actually do an install across the net? Seems tricky.

They already have different ID's. I had to boot the second machine from the
monitor program.

I'd like to try and save the CAD package on it if I can. I've got the
hardware key, but not the install disk.

Is it reasonable to think I can place a second HDD in the chassis, set the
defaults to boot from the second disk, then manually boot from the current
SunOS disks as needed?

Just any old 30 pin 4 MB parity SIMMS I can get off the street?

Will Solaris buy me any real functionality? Like I said earlier, we're
trying to run a business here. I'm willing to work my butt off for a decent
return, but I have to keep an eye on the cash flow, too, and spending time
and effort for cuteness won't cut it when there are paying customers
waiting.

Great resource. Thanks!
