Wanted: help with GPSI on CG9/GXP

As the subject suggests, I want to graphics at the GPSI level on a sun4
with a CG9 (and a GP2). I have the GPSI programmers reference manual, and
it, (in the first two appendices) refers to example code on the
distribution tape, which I'm told did not actually come with it.

I have been attempting to follow the instructions, but many of them look
not to have been updated since CG9s came along, in that they refer to 8
bit fields for specifying bitplane masks, while the CG9 has 24 bits. The
CG9 manual does not refer to the GPSI programming interface at all.

What I'd really like is a minimal piece of code which draws a single
Gouraud-shaded triangle with 3-d vertices. From that I should be able to
deduce what I'm missing (or whether the hardware is performing according
to its documentation). I'd settle for anything that is guaranteed to use
the GPSI level interface to make the graphics processor change the
appearance of the screen.

Thanks in advance.
