Someone told me that the Xylogics 7053 (Sun calls it SMD-4 ?) can handle
both drives but SunOS might not. Just wondering if anyone has got any
workarounds on this ?
Also, just wondering if anyone has tried this config before :-
System backplane
|
|<--- Xylogics 451 ----> 892 MB Hitachi dk-815
| |
| ----> empty
|
|<--- Xylogics 7053 ----> 1.2 GB CDC Sabre
|
----> empty
|
----> empty
|
----> empty
I guess that with this config, you can still address the Hitachi as xy0
and the Sabre as xd0, right ?
