Problem with mounting the floppy drive

I've got a small problem with the floppy disk drive on my Sparc 2. It mounts
and works just fine, but once I eject the disk, it automatically unmounts the
drive from the filesystem. I am using the standard fstab entry, as described
in the pcfs man page:

	/dev/fd0	/pcfs pcfs noauto rw 0 0

Is this annoyance a standard "feature" of SunOS, or can it be prevented?
Thanks...
