How many supercomputers?

Does anyone know of a recent reference that gives an estimate of the
U.S. or global market share of supercomputers? (I realize that the
definition of supercomputer is variable and that some numbers may not
be available, such as how many the NSA has, etc.) I've already
done a WAIS search, to no avail.

I'd appreciate e-mail replies and am willing to post results of what I
find out, if anyone's interested... Thanks,
