A couple of years ago, I helped edit a survey of parallel computing
manufacturers. The record since then has been pretty sobering:

Alliant:	deceased
BBN: withdrew from the fray
AMT: deceased (but resurrected)
Caplin: ???
CCC: still in business (but had their machine rejected)
Cogent: deceased (I think)
Concurrent:	???
Convex: still in business
CRI: still in business
DEC: don't really know what to say...
Encore: still in business
FPS: deceased
Fujitsu:	still in business (that's an understatement)
IBM: still in business (another understatement)
Intel: still in business
MasPar: still in business
Meiko: still in business
Ncube: still in business
Parsys: still in business
Parsytec:	still in business
Sequent:	still in business
SGI: still in business
SSI: recently deceased
Stardent:	deceased
Teradata:	taken over
TMC: still in business

And this ignores BiiN, ETA, Multiflow, Myrias, and Symult, who were dead by
the time the book came out, and doesn't include KSR or Tera, who hadn't
released products (and in KSR's case, wouldn't even talk to us) when we were
compiling material.
