Does anyone know of a vendor who sells a C++ compiler for CRAY's
(running UNICOS)? Preferably this would be a C++ version 3.0 native
compiler, but I would also like to know about any other versions, if
such exist.

Cray Research Inc. licenses a C++ compiler based on the USL C++ compiler.

Columnist John C. Dvorak, reports in his column in the October
13th, 1992 issue of PC Magazine, page 99 :

"Wacky News of the Moment Awards: The first prize goes to
Cray Research for developing a C++ for use on Cray supercomputers.
The company says that object-oriented software development
is headed toward supercomputers. I'm glad to see that *bloated
code* is now universal."
