All and everyone, Is it permissible to do calloc with the number of elements being a function, e.g. calloc (a+b-1, sizeof(float))? I have done this on a Cray Y-MP, SGI and NeXT but the Convex does not like it. Thanks for the help, Dan (dan@ennex1.eng.utsa.edu)

I have used it in the same manner and it works. What specifically doesn't work when you try it? regards :-) dale -- =========================================================================== Dale M.
