Erling,
Have your tried to call Hewlett-Packard Customer Response Center?
They now support most of TI's computer systems. TI system V is
actively supported, but others like Explorer support is minimal.
It's 1-800-531-5160. They should be able to accomodate your software
needs, although I do not know whether the latest updates solve your
problem. The latest version of Explorer software is 6.1 and
additional patches and one new microcode should be available.
If you want to use fax, it's 404-850-2704 attn to: D. Isler, HP
Customer Response Center. -- NN
PS.
Let me know if you have any luck talking to HP. I may have
a chance to talk with them sometime in the future.
Regards,
