                    RESEARCH FELLOW OR RESEARCH ASSISTANT
                           IN PARALLEL SIMULATION

Applications are invited for the above post, available from 1st April 1991 or
soon  thereafter,  to  work  on  the investigation of Parallel Discrete-Event
Simulation strategies on transputer-based architectures.   Applicants  should
preferably  have  a  Ph.D.  in  an  area relevant to this work, or equivalent
research or industrial experience.

The post, which is funded by the Royal Signals and  Radar  Establishment,  is
available  initially  for  one  year  with  the  possibility of renewal for a
further two years.  The starting salary will be within the range #11,399 p.a.
to #13,495 p.a., dependent on age and experience.
