Hi,

I have recently started working on image data compression, and would like
to implement some of the techniques, such as predictive coding, transform
coding and entropy coding using transputers.

I would like to know what are the current work in this area, and the relevant
person(s) that I can consult, also if there is any available software that
does this. Some pointers to relevant publications is also appreciated.

Thank you for your advice.
