This has been talked about since 1985 or so.  I've never seen any
results, nor heard specific reasons why it wasn't done or didn't
succeed.

From what I know of GCC (a bit) and of transputer code generation (a lot),
I'd say they don't match very well.  I'd be very interested in seeing
anybody map the GNU RTL onto the transputer stack.  Very interested...

Please post a summary of your findings.  I'd like to know if anybody
every actually attempt a port, and how things worked out for them.
