OS Project for Transputers

I'm searching for a platform to teach an operating system class -- with a
good OS writing project. We have this nifty Transputer network just
waiting for software....

Has anyone taught an OS class or designed an OS for a Transputer? I'm
looking for a contained project, doable in a semester, for 1 or more
Transputers.

Hey, I'll take any ideas you want to float to me. Many Thanks!

       an upgrade..."
