Seeking Information on Joyce

I'm looking for references and information on "Joyce," a programming
language that I understand runs on an Encore Multimax. Is this a
Linda-like tuple-space paradigm? Where did Joyce originate? Who is
using it? For what kinds of applications is it suitable?

Thanks in advance.
