B014 driver problem

I have a problem with the Inmos driver (IMS514C) for the B016 VME
transputer board.

The driver will initialize properly only after a reset (or power up)
but not after a 'simple' reboot if the machine was running already (see
messages below). Obviously the driver checks the status of the VIC
(VMEbus Interface Chip). If it finds it 'virgin' everything is fine, if
it was already initialized by a prior boot process it does not load the
devices bxvi0..3 and of course no access to the board is possible.

Does anybody have a solution to this problem?

Many thanks in advance.
