Yes! there even exist several UNIX compabible MAKE utilities for MSDOS.  I
tried several of them and came to the conclusion that ABMAKE offered all
the features I needed *).  ABMAKE is available from SIMTEL20 (and its ftp
mirror size) and is posted to the MSDOS.SYSUTL directory.

Be aware when using it with alian languages like 3L Parallel Pascal.  Due
to a shortage of file handlers in MS-DOS you should replace the PASCAL=T8P
command with:
	PASCAL=afserver -:o 1 -:b tp.b4
