Dear friends, If any body that can offer help in ANY of the areas below please contact me. I need to talk to any body that : 1) Has a transputer system and is using it for image processing. 2) Is using the transtech MCP 1000 board for image processing. 3) Is using Trollius for image processing applications or any application that requires transfer of large data. 4) Is using Logical systems C and a transtech MCP 1000 board directly ( That is with out going through trollius). 5) Any body that is EXTREMELY impressed with the performance gain they got with transputers. (I am still not impressed) ANY papers, technical reports, books etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot guys .. -- Sameh -- Sameh S. Help! If anyone out there has experience with multiple compilers for the Transputer, please send me (or post to the net) a brief summary of your likes/dislikes of each compiler with which you have experience. I am mostly interested in comparisons amongst C compilers, but am also highly interested in comparisons between C and Fortran and C and OCCAM. Also, does anyone have any particularly good/bad experiences with debuggers for the Transputer? My host system is Apollo (SR9, moving up to SR10 shortly). Thanks, in advance. If sending mail, my preferred net address is paul@neuronet.pitt.edu. University of Pittsburgh Department of Electrical Engrng. (412) 624-9148
