I was asked to write two articles for a U.S. electronics magazine on:
 
- the use of transputers for image recognition, more precisely the
recognition of defects in plates, bottles, cookies, ... Are there any
commercial applications around that you know of ? Who is doing advanced
research in this area ?
 
- the availability of VME boards with transputers or transputer interfaces,
that can be plugged into standard VME systems. Most of you must have seen my
article about that on this bulletin board several weeks ago. Are there VME
boards that were not included in this survey ?
