Here are some details of the IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed
Systems for which the premiere issue will be available in Jan 1990.

General Area Adressed:	Hardware/Software issues and applications for 
			parallel and/or distributed systems.

Frequency:		Quarterly.

Sample Subject areas:	Design, implementation, and analysis of multiple
			processor systems;

			Impact of VLSI on parallel/distributed design;

			Inter-processor communications;
