Source to Sperry Univac/Unisys VS/9 Mainframe Operating System

I am under the impression that Unisys is no longer selling the mainframe
equivalent to IBM's 370 Series, that they purchased in the 1970s from
RCA, the Spectra, later becoming the 90/60 (360), 90/70 and 90/80.
The operating system Univac then Sperry created for the machine was
called VS/9. It was a terminal-supporting operating system with far
better programmer and end-user compatibility than anything IBM has ever
released, excepting maybe MUSIC which isn't really supported.
But, Like IBM's Music, VS/9, I believe, came with sources allowing the
end user sites to make local modifications to the system.
As Unisys is no longer selling the 90 Series, was anything done about
VS/9. Is it simply "defunct" and out of use, forgotten? Was it
abandoned? Was it sold to someone else? Or is it actually still available.
The reason is that I'm interested in the Operating System sources
themselves and the system programs (compilers, interpreters, etc.) as well
as other applications programs which were available as part of VS/9,
specifically the EDT editor, plus any reference manuals that came with it.
I am interested in it for two reasons: one, I'd like to take a look at
how it worked.
Two, I'm interested in seeing if it could be converted over to be used as
perhaps a "guest operating system" under VM/370, or perhaps used as a new
operating system on other hardware, perhaps in some form of emulation if
needed, perhaps translated to the appropriate machine instructions for
the new machine.
I'd like to find out if either there is (1) someone who used to have a
90/60 who has the original files and sources, possibly including manuals,
that could give or sell them to me (or let me pick them up or pay the
cost of shipping) so that I could take a look at them, if they are no
longer being released by the company.
Or, (2) someone I could contact (or someone at Unisys who could contact
me) that would be interested in negotiating some form of sales agreement
to allow me to try to develop something worth selling for current
computers. I can also be reached by telephone at 1-800-TDARCOS or via
E-Mail to PAUL@TDR.COM, via facsimile at 1-301-588-1720 with
"PAUL ROBINSON" on the cover sheet.
I'm trying to find a way to do this inexpensively to myself, since I
think the only way I can see money out of this is on sales to customers
who would find the system something better than what they are using now,
if that is even possible. I don't know, but I'd like to find out.
