From article <26739@ucsd.Edu>, by jboyd@ucsd.Edu (John Boyd): > > Does anyone know how to get a cheap non-zenith color > graphics card (maybe ega) to work in one of these dinosaurs? > Is it a question of BIOS chips that need a changing or is it some > other hardware difficulty? Thanks in advance..... I don't know about an EGA, but I had a Paradise dual graphics card working in mine when I had an H151. It could be switched between CGA mode and Hercules mode. Probably the only thing to worry about with the EGA is whether your hard disk rom clashed with the EGA memory space. As I recall the rom was at a wierd dip-switch setable location - EGA space is in the 64K at $A000 I believe. - Jeff Shorey
