For benefit of those are avid users of their Z-100 but are wishing for -- more colors, or that they could afford to purchase both the 'ProColor' video board (produced by Travis Barfield, sold by Paul F. Herman) and the multi-synch monitpr required can realize the dream of exceptional color-capability now... One of the most useful items I learned at the 1992 Z-100 Users' Conference was that the ZVM-135 monitor *IS* usable with the ProColor board. This, in fact, demonstrates the ZVM-135 is an analog monitor, rather than TTL-RGB as documented. Seeing 512 colors is quite nice... and somewhat useful, too. Today in conversation, some of us here reached the conclusion that quantum mechanics can be described via fractal arithmetic, based upon the quantization of data in files of iterations-to-convergance. Actually, this would not be unexpected, but does show one use of an otherwise merely aesthetically- pleasing piece of work. Walt K.
