Disk controller for the z100
#265

I've got a Heath/Zenith Z-100 which I purchased about 6-7 years ago. I've
just turned it on after it sat in my basement for 2 years. Unfortunately
the disk controller board does not pass the power up self test. The disks
spin up (when it is power cycled with the on off switch--not the reset key),
the red access LEDs flash briefly, then I get an error indicating the
controller didn't pass the self test.

After calling (what used to be) my local Heathkit store I found that the Z-100
is no longer supported :-(

Does anybody have a spare controller board that they'd be willing to part
with cheap? I'm only using the two full height 5 1/4" drives that came
with the system.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
- Dale
