I have a 286 desktop that I would to upgrade to a 386 or 486. So what I was wondering would it be better to buy a new mother board or just replace the back-plane boards. Also what companies sell back-plane boards. -Andrew Mazzola mazzolav@craft.camp.clarkson.edu

A very popular replacement motherboard is the Zuni Z-33 from Western Imaging. They offer both 386 and 486 CPU configurations in a variety of speeds. Jay Joiner, a satisfied customer.
