I have an older Zenith portable (laptop) model: ZWL-183-93
I know nothing about it. The battary is dead and the
power cord is gone.
>> This is an XT compatible (8088) laptop. It uses a ZA-180-35 External
charger for the battery pack. The battery is a ZA-180-45. Some of these
may still be available through a Zenith Data Systems Dealer.
Your Z-183 has one 720KB floppy and one 20MB hard drive, and normally
came with MS-DOS 3.2. It has a cga screen and RGB video port on the
rear, in addition to one parallel and one serial port, a composite
video port, and a socket for connecting a 101-key keyboard. 640K RAM.
Does anyone have any information on this computer.
Does anyone know of a Tech support number for Zenith
that I could call. I would love to get a manual for this.
>> ZDS has the following number for support/assistance: (800) 227-3360
To locate a dealer, call (800) 523-9393.
