Zenith Flatscreen Monitor Quality?

I wonder if anybody has had experience with the Zenith 1495(?) flatscreen
monitor? Having looked high and low for a decent monitor, I have been referred
to that one--fairly expensive--but I am told VERY crisp. 95% of the color
monitors I have seen are fuzzy, are ergonomically unsound and should not be out
there. I wonder, also, if this Zenith is non-interlaced, reliable, and whether
the company provides decent warranty service if needed. General comments will
be appreciated as well.--

The 1495 appears to be the 1492 in a new colored skin. It's a 14" VGA
monitor with an analog RGB input and 31.5kHz scan freq. THe really nice
feature is it's unique flat screen (Flat Tension Mask) and special
Optical Coating Lab's "no-glare" surface. Educational price is $527.

A good alternative is the NEC 3FGX 15" Multisync Non-Int. Super VGA
monitor. It will do MAC or PC and sells for around $650.

If you can afford it, the New Zenith ZCM-1790 is a 17" Multi-Sync
1024x768 with a FTM and OCL coating. This is the 17" flat screen
Compaq is reselling with their name on it. Ed. price $1027.

I have had a 1492 for four years, and even though it is only a VGA non
interlaced monitor, it is oustanding. I find nothing I like better until I get
to the $2000+ range of 20" and up monitors.
