    Greetings,
 
    We aquired a 5620 and the three disk core set from another
department.  I have tried off and on to get the thing to work.
I installed the core system on one of our 3B2/400s.  The dmdck
script ran okay, complained about the packages I didn't have which
I expected.
 
    When I attempt to invoke layers I get the message
"not an xt windowing terminal"  I've all the environment
variables set as the manual requests.  Anyone have any
ideas?  My 705s window okay.

I get a similar message : Not a 5620 terminal.
 
I was told that this was due to bad ROMs.  ANy suggestions or ideas?
