I ran into a teletype band printer as well as an AT&T terminal that uses a butc
hered (I think) version of a sync. serial line.. Called SSI.. I really would l
ike to know about the SSI interface.. (I did not pay a penny for either unit, d
espite their value..) But I'd like to know about this incredibly efficient SSI
protocol or interface -- or whatever it is.. After years living and breathing
the RS232, it is nice to see a "standardized" serial line, for a change.

Anyhow, any information about SSI (Attention AT&T owners..) drop me a note or f
ollowup..
