Problem with DDR 3180+

My company has set up a leased line with one of our clients.  We set them up 
with a DDR 3180+ terminal so they could hook into our IBM mainframe running 
CICS.  

After finally getting the connection to work it seems that at times the 
terminal is not showing part of the screen.  I think it is the lowerf left 
quadrant of the screen.  It's just not displaying.

Has anyone ever heard of this before?
