I have a Lear Siegler ADM3A+ terminal which I use to log on to the Unix machines at school at 1200 baud. The terminal performs fairly well using the adm3aplus termcap entry with one notable exception. Using telnet clients and elm the spaces are nondestructive. So, for instance, the line on the elm display that takes input and offers options never clears before asking for more input making for a very jumbled display. I assume there may be something wrong with the termcap offered here. The dip switch the ADM3A had for destructive/non destructive cursor spacing is not included on the 3A+. I tried calling Lear Siegler, but they seem to be out of business or else not where they used to be and not easily found. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I could switch to another terminal for not alot of money, but if I can keep this one running, I would prefer to. Mike -- Michael Hall mphall@nickel.ucs.indiana.edu
