hmmm, I found a hosts.ics file with a strange/ unknown ip address assigned to my computer. It's not my modem address and it's not my NIC card address. What about it? Should I delete that? I also found two hosts files and two lmhosts files in my system folders, but I don't seem to be able to open them. (what type of "speed up" software might you be talking about. I don't think I have anything like that.)
