What I have found against this stuff that works well is:

 - create whitelist of known, trusted users and accept their stuff w/o
 question

 - then dump ALL HTML mail as spam (90%+ of spam is HTML). 

I doubt mailguard will ever have that kind of flexibility. 

I've gotten 1100+ spams this week, and only 6 have gotten through.
