I received in the mail today an offer from Vertisoft Systems Inc. for
a software package called "Emulaser".  It says "Upgrade Your Printer
To The Highest LASER Quality For Less Than $50!".

The product is a TSR printer driver that takes in PostScript and
converts to whatever needed for the printer of your choice.  Basically
and 9-Pin or 24-Pin dot matrix,Ink Jets, or non-PostScript Laser
printers.  They claim support for 523 printers.

In addition, they throw in 71 scaleable fonts, which they say would
cost $195 each from Adobe or CompuGraphics (for "similar" versions).

Of course, it sounds too good.  Has anybody heard of this product or
this company?  Any comments?
