My wife is a graphic designer who is just now gearing up to do serious
work after taking a few years off to take care of young children.

What software should she get for page layout and typesetting?
Aldus Pagemaker? Ventura? Something else?

(She's tried to do some things with Word Perfect, which is woefully
inadequate. If WP performed as advertised, it would be OK, but every
time either of us tries to do anything out of the ordinary, we find more
bugs in it.)

Comments/recommendations/free-for-alls welcome.
