The first meeting of the Washington Area SGML Users Group will be
held at 7:00 on September 12 at the Patent and Trade Office (PTO)
in Crystal City, Arlington.  Larry Larson from the PTO has been
kind enough to supply a conference room for the meeting.  An
agenda should be finalized within the next week and will be
available at http://www.eccnet.com/~harvey/sgmlug.html.

The exact address is:

Crystal Plaza 2, Room 9D-30.
2011 South Clark Place,
Arlington 

It is located on the corner of 20th Street and Crystal
Drive, above the Safeway area of the Underground.

Directions:

>From Route 1 southbound, turn left; from Route 1 northbound, turn right,
at the light onto 23rd Street. Proceed to the traffic light at the 
intersection with Crystal Drive; you must turn left onto Crystal Drive.
The building is at the end of the first block on the left side of the
street.

>From Metro:

Ride to the Crystal City station. Go up the first escalator flight (but
*not* the second escalator flight, which would put you at ground level).
Turn left, through glass doors into the underground. Walk as straight as
possible, passing the Crystal Forum, Rapid Patent, and the Crystal City
Marriott Hotel (do not be alarmed when, at one point, the walkway turns
sharply left!). When you come to a four-way intersection with Au Bon Pain
on your right, turn left. Walk to the end of the hallway, where you will
find a bank of elevators. Ride up to the first floor, and you're there.
