David Webber, XML Global Technologies, VP Business Development and co-author
of a recent ebXML book (see http://www.ebxmlbook.com).
David will present on using XML end-to-end to deploy web based
business applications. See how to use XML Schema to build forms
and automatically return structured XML content from the browser
in a simple low-cost system utilizing XMLSpy's toolset combined
with XML Globals GoXML DB and XQuery syntax support. XML Global's
native XML database product is the first to market with implementation
of the W3C XQuery syntax in both a desktop and server product suite.
The presentation will be focused on the technical details and
show how XML is used end-to-end to enable rapid application
development. Also discussed will be the business use model for
an XML database alongside traditional SQL relational storage
and the ability to use the GoXML Transform tool to bridge between
the two worlds.
Barry Schaeffer, X.Systems, Inc.
Ivan Cottrell, Arbortext
Arbortext's Epic Editor, X.System.Inc's GEM and Software AG
