The next meeting of the Washington Area SGML Users Group is
scheduled for Wednesday September 16, 1998 at the American
Geophysical Union (AGU) at 2000 Florida Avenuw, N.W.,
Washington, DC 20009-1277. The meeting starts at 7:00 p.m.
and usually lasts approximately 2 hours. If attending the
meeting by Metro, get off the Dupont Circle stop and walk
north to Florida Avenue...turn right.

IMPORTANT: The doors at AGU are locked afterhours. Someone
is at the door until 7:30 to let people in. If you arrive
after 7:30, please wait a few minutes and someone will check
the doors periodically.

SEPTEMBER AGENDA:

Mauricio Ordonez, Microsoft Corporation

   XML and Microsoft.

We have devoted the entire meeting to Mauricio to talk about
XML and the future. I would like to thank Cheryl Dixon
for arranging for Mauricio to speak with us. I think this
   will be an exciting meeting.

Looking Ahead to our October Meeting:

We have two unconfirmed speakers for the October meeting.
I think both of these products are exciting. Both of these
relate to new technology. As soon as I get confirmation,
I will send out a notice.

Currently we need speakers for both the technical and vendor
presentation portion of future meetings. If you would like
to give a presentation at either October, November meeting
or subsequent meetings, please send e-mail or call Betty
Harvey (301) 540-8251. Share your knowledge and experience
with others.

Hope to see you there.
