initex problems for TeX 3.0

I have just compiled up initex and vertex and I am now trying to build
the lplain.fmt file, but I get the following error... Does it mean that
I have a corrupted font?


hyphenation (/usr/local/pack/tex/inputs/hyphen.tex) (lfonts.tex
