CJK 4.2.0 has been released. It should be already on all CTAN hosts
(ftp.dante.de, ftp.dex.ac.uk, and ctan.tug.org) and will be soon
available on its mirrors (for a list of known CTAN mirrors say
`finger ctan@ftp.dante.de').
The package consists of three parts: `src', `bin', and `rest'. The
`src' part can be found unpacked in <CTAN>/language/chinese/CJK; the
`bin' part (a zipped archive in the same directory) contains DOS and
OS/2 binaries compiled with emx 0.9c. Finally, the `rest' part (a
gzipped tar archive) contains pre-formatted example and documentation
files.
A list of changes is below.
Happy TeXing!
Werner
[The CJK package for LaTeX provides support for Chinese, Japanese, and
Korean in various encodings.
Additionally, a special interface to the Emacs editor is available
which directly supports many encodings of Emacs simultaneously: all
Latin-based scripts (including Vietnamese), various CJK encodings,
Thai, and Cyrillic.
Finally, it provides the program hbf2gf to convert CJK fonts in HBF
format to TFM and PK files.]
